I’m Andrea Paterson & I’ve been a promoter of people for as long as I can remember. Red Maple was born out of a sheer love for Talent Acquisition. Andrea's Global journey has been one heck of an adventure, eh! Originally from the Great White North in Canada, she's been a force on the HR scene for a cool two decades (see what we did there?!) LOL
Skilfully deploying her HR expertise across nimble start-ups, SME’s, & corporate giants, Andrea has made her mark from the heart of Canada to the bustling landscapes of the USA, Europe, & the Middle East. Her mastery of the 'People playbook' stems from her extensive experience across nearly every HR role imaginable.
Andrea has demonstrated her ability to drive success in pacy consumer businesses. Andrea served as the former Chief People Officer of a fast-growing PE-backed travel company. She’s also crafted unforgettable experiences in luxury hospitality, collaborating with iconic hotel groups like Shangri-La, Fairmont, Jumeirah, & Starwood.
Additionally, Andrea has sharpened her skills in the fast-paced retail sector, with notable experience at Fenwick nationally. She’s made her mark in the media & creative industries, working & collaborating with renowned
companies like Omnicom Media, WPP, & Interpublic Group (IPG). She’s also showcased her talent in navigating the tech landscape, as an International consultant, demonstrating her expertise with Bentley Systems & recruiting for Research In Motion.
Her experience sets her apart as a true industry leader & as you know by now, Andrea's journey doesn't end there. Beyond her illustrious career, her vision & expertise have come together to create a premier 'go-to' HR-centric recruitment & search business- Red Maple Recruitment.
